EMERGE was founded in 2017 by Lawrence Shweky after 25 years of working with and on behalf of young people in a variety of settings.  We started with a small team and small office on Oak Avenue and have expanded slowly since then.  

In its ten years, EMERGE has helped over 1,000 young clients and their families navigate the complex challenges of life in a rapidly changing world.  While we cannot meet the needs of all young people, our goal is to be a light to those nearby and hope that it spreads far and wide.
